Sutton vs Farnborough

By February 2, 2015 No Comments

Sutton continued their climb up the Vanarama Conference South table on Saturday with a straightforward victory over a Farnborough side that remained stuck in the bottom two after a fifth consecutive away defeat.

It took until the second half for Sutton to break through, but with Aaron Howe enjoying his quietest afternoon since joining U’s there was little danger of them not claiming the three points, even if the second goal didn’t come until the game was entering the four additional minutes allowed by referee Carl Brook.

Sutton took an easy victory with a final score of 2-0, goals from Gomis in the 56th minute and the second from White.

The game was sponsored by business club member Vanarama as a part of their campaign sponsoring the playing shirt for the youth team.
