Richmond Rugby networking breakfast

By January 29, 2015 No Comments

The Richmond Rugby business club saw its monthly networking breakfast at the exquisite Pitcher and Piano where nearly 40 members enjoyed a fine selection of food with all tastes catered for, the freshly baked croissants and pastries were particularly delicious and for the more health conscious a wide variety of cereals including a very tasty granola.

There was a variety of interesting and informative presentations given by our members.

The first presentation was given by Christina Jackson of 3degrees Social, where she spoke about the importance of an effective LinkedIn profile and her training and mentoring around getting the most from your profile.
Next Avril Davis of Waymark Financial spoke on pension auto enrolment. This was followed by Malcolm Ford of IT Enterprise Business Solutions, pictured below presenting to our members regarding Excel training.

Billy Manley of Bluefin Insurance then followed with an interesting presentation about commercial insurance and risk management.
Next to present was Manoj Nanda of Richmond Adult Community College, where he discussed Richmond College Business School, employer engagement, business training, content strategy, IT training, marketing and finance.
The final presentation came from Stanley Beckett which covered the legal requirements for a business website, including the legally required contact details.

The presentations were followed by the opportunity for some informal networking where everyone seemed to be making some great connections.

Many thanks from Abbotts Group and Richmond Rugby to The Pitcher and Piano for hosting another fabulous event, thank you to the business club members who took the time to present and thank you to the members for attending.
