The members and guests of the Richmond business club were treated to an encore at the Hampton Hill Theatre on Monday. The event saw a busy event with informal networking followed by divine catering again by How Can We Help You? Where we were treated to tasty and tempting British tapas, with certain members of the Abbotts Group team reportedly sampling 2 large pieces of cake! Then we moved on to our members presentations.
First to take centre stage was our host John Gilbert of Hampton Hill Theatre, he gave an introduction to the venue with focus in the drama groups and conference facilities. the majority of their bookings and productions are that of amateur and community productions.
This was followed by an introduction to the catering, kindly provided by Darren Allen of How Can We Help You? He outlined the range of services they offer and an insight into their eco ethos.
Everton Stuart of Retell followed on with an interesting presentation focusing on telecommunications, he spoke about the importance of recording calls and the prerequisites of doing so, he explained how a public notice of automatic recording on your website is sufficient.
Steve Cooper of Sterling Health and Fitness then went on to talk about the benefit of a good diet and how exercise can be motivational in the work place, he also explained how people need to be aware of bogus buzz words that feature in HIIT and Tabata training and how a clear understanding how the different exercises fall into exercise categories can maximize exercise results.
Prestige World’s Sarah Malin then went on to talk to the members about the luxury world destinations they offer holidays to, she also spoke about their cricket test tours they offer to individuals but also to clubs and groups.
This was then followed by 2 complimentary investments presentations with Mayado Private Wealth where Christian Soden explained how investments can be made both on a personal individual basis and also on behalf of a company or organisation. Keith Isham of Providence Wealth then went into detail of a new fixed income offshore investment product that is set to rival the returns of a bank’s savings account.
Finally we were all wowed by Mike Amann from Virgin Pure with his water filter, where at the touch of a button you could have instant cold, room temperature or boiling water, designed to save time in both the office and home.
This was then followed by the opportunity for more networking, giving everyone the chance to discuss presentations and network with fellow members.
